But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Lamberto couldn't finish the play. Honorato Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ursino in the 9th minute of play. If Orlando Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isaias Bastia fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorrillos's protests and gave Isaias Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Bastia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Orlando Oinaz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Chatruc FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eustacio Jurgi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Pablo Azevedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A hard shot by Feliciano Beremundo from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Aquiles Malvin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Honorato Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Lamberto in the 21st minute of play forced Chatruc FC's goalkeeper Honorato Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Genaro Lamberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Constancio. Chatruc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genaro Lamberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Honorato Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Ortle charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Ortle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chorrillos booed when Chatruc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ursino in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chatruc FC's Santos Edwardo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Honorato Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Moises Milian fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chatruc FC's protests and gave Moises Milian a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Chatruc FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Milian. Genaro Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Casimiro Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Orlando Oinaz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aquiles Malvin. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genaro Lamberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Constancio having to interfere. Aquiles Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Isaias Bastia got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 60th match minute, Chorrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Bastia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Oinaz in the 67th minute of play forced Chorrillos's goalkeeper Aquiles Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Oinaz in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Orlando Oinaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chatruc FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cristian Ursino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Honorato Constancio made a huge save. In the 85th minute of the match Pablo Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Malvin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Cristian Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matias Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Constancio having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorrillos's goalkeeper Aquiles Malvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Ursino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Honorato Constancio made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chatruc FC had won after a very even match.
