Bernabe Ganix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeronimo Franco struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Honorato Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Nacional de Futbol. Chatruc FC's Honorato Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Jaunti in the 19th minute of play. Honorato Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Franco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chatruc FC's Honorato Constancio. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Oinaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorato Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Franco in the 57th minute of play. Jeronimo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Honorato Constancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Ganix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Oinaz in the 71st minute of the match. If Placido Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Jeronimo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Chatruc FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Azevedo. Lorenzo Giro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Constancio having to make a save. Jeronimo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Jeronimo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Franco got in the 95th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Honorato Constancio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Club Nacional de Futbol lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
