In the 16th minute, Cristian Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Genaro Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Lamberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Tipi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Frichoso. In the 26th minute, Genaro Lamberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malvinas's Gabriel Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Lamberto in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Roman Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Furtado in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Jordy. Cristian Ursino in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Tipi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Elias Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorrillos's goalkeeper Aquiles Malvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Malvinas's Gabriel Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Lamberto in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chorrillos's zone, Roman Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Malvin came out of the goal and Roman Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Ubaldo Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Jurgi's late challenge caught a Malvinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Jurgi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Chorrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Roman Henry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Malvin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Genaro Lamberto charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Lamberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Genaro Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 94 played minutes Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Jordy. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
