The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaudencio Cesaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Genaro Lamberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes, Chorrillos's Donato Domiku shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaudencio Cesaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chorrillos reached it. In the 27th match minute, Lavalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Chinto to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Cesaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Lamberto in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Lavalia booed when Chorrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Cristian Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Savier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Aquiles Malvin made a huge save. Aquiles Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorrillos's goalkeeper Aquiles Malvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Eustacio Jurgi fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorrillos's protests and gave Eustacio Jurgi a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Jurgi. Paulo Savier spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chorrillos's goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Lamberto to make the kick off. When Isaias Bastia fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorrillos's protests and gave Isaias Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Isaias Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Maxin, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 71st minute, Jaime Lehoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Arnas. Paulo Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Chorrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Arnas to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Lamberto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gaudencio Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorrillos. A hard shot 95 in the game by Cristian Ursino from a close distance when the talented Gaudencio Cesaro managed to make a qualified save. Lavalia's players were relieved. Eustacio Jurgi might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Cesaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Jurgi ran back to his position shaking his head.
