After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Uriel Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUTGARDIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Clemencin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victorino Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nicanor Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Paulo Rolado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The LUTGARDIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fernando Min hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Victorino Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nicanor Romo made a huge save. Victorino Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Romo having to interfere. Pueblito's Zeledon Ramond got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, LUTGARDIS's goalkeeper Nicanor Romo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Elia. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Clemencin to make the kick off. LUTGARDIS's Nicanor Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Ramond in the 55th minute of play. Eugenio Cordaryal's late challenge caught a Pueblito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Cordaryal helped the player get up and apologised. Eugenio Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Victorino Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nicanor Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Victorino Elia came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Pueblito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Elia couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the match Fernando Min shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Eyague showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LUTGARDIS's zone, Zeledon Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Romo came out of the goal and Zeledon Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, LUTGARDIS's Adolfo Eliazar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adolfo Eliazar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LUTGARDIS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adolfo Eliazar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Pueblito. Modesto Cucao stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicanor Romo. 1-2. The LUTGARDIS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
