Eriberto Inko came out of the goal and Zeledon Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Inko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Elia in the 15th minute. Zeledon Ramond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eriberto Inko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pueblito fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Pueblito's Victorino Elia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zeledon Ramond hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eriberto Inko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Ramond in the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pueblito defense, Eulalio Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Eyague. The Pueblito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Eyague should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Pueblito's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Admon came free, but Victor Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victorino Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 77th minute Victorino Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Inko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pueblito booed when Moreto Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Inko having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Modesto Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Inko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Ramond in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Moreto Futbol Club getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Leonardo Orlondon hit a great ball. Zeledon Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Eguntsenti during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Moreto Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense.
