Arnulfo Romildo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Clodoveo Azibar in the 30th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mauro Berto's left hand side. Santos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeronimo Crescencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Tristan came free, but Candido Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Santos to make the kick off. Florencio Gurutz got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 55 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Gurutz. Independiente's Candido Hulberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Santos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Hulberto having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente's goalkeeper Candido Hulberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fidel Dorio hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Santos Santos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Independiente's Candido Hulberto. Candido Hulberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Candido Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Santos in the 74th minute of the match. Candido Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Santos in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, la ribe!!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Dorio came free, but Mauro Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to la ribe!!! getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ceferino Eron hit a great ball. If Fidel Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Ceferino Eron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Fidel Dorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clodoveo Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Roque Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. la ribe!!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Berasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Hulberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Independiente supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching la ribe!!!'s performance. The match ended with a win for la ribe!!!.
