The supporters of PaticoFC booed when Villa Pueyrredón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, PaticoFC's Primitivo Servando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Gaitan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PaticoFC reached it. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind PaticoFC's goalkeeper Rene Iigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Angel Oton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PaticoFC's Rene Iigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Angel Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Villa Pueyrredón FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Villa Pueyrredón FC's Angel Oton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
