The referee ignored Vinará's protests and gave Jacobo Orlondon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Jacobo Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Jacindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Bazil, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Stephen got free with Ambrosio Jacindo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Talleres de Cordoba getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dario Stephen hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Fabian Hludzenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Mouricio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Cordoba's zone, Teofilo Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Mouricio came out of the goal and Teofilo Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anestis Dimakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Mouricio having to interfere. If Mariano Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Talleres de Cordoba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vinará were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Teodor made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Anestis Dimakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Jacindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Bazil went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Erubiel Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Iturri struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Oscar Mouricio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinará. Ambrosio Jacindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Santikurtz went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Vinará's Teofilo Abastas got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Albino Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Orlondon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Oscar Mouricio made a huge save. Dario Stephen's late challenge caught a Vinará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Stephen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Talleres de Cordoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Stephen to maneuver through the defense. Vinará's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
