Lisandro Lando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of River Pasion booed when Pergamino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Gabon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Aaron Gabon fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Pasion's protests and gave Aaron Gabon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pergamino booed when River Pasion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Cisco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in River Pasion's zone, Filiberto Caetano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Lando came out of the goal and Filiberto Caetano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lisandro Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, one of River Pasion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Caetano in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Lando saved River Pasion from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Filiberto Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Lando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wilfredo Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pedro Haritzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiberto Caetano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Perrando hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see River Pasion's Roque Fernado in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 55th minute, Rodolfo Iago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Pasion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lucas Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a River Pasion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pergamino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for River Pasion. Roque Fernado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Haritzeder. 2-1. Rodolfo Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Vachon during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. River Pasion's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
