Santiago Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Dolfina's goalkeeper Santiago Mero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angel Iratxo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Santiago Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Ferdinand in the 14th minute of the match. Santiago Mero came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachivache F.C's Amadeo Ofelio. But to his dismay, Amadeo Ofelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Humberto Ferdinand notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Dolfina's Santiago Mero. Santiago Mero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Humberto Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Mero having to interfere. La Dolfina's Santiago Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Ferdinand in the 33rd minute of play. Angel Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Sendoa having to interfere. The supporters of Cachivache F.C booed when La Dolfina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Poncio missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Santiago Mero right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Ferdinand in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Mero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

54 minutes into the match, La Dolfina's Angelo Berto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Sendoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to La Dolfina getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marcelino Patrido hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Angelo Berto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Angelo Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Santiago Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Dolfina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Lluc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Angelo Berto made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Sendoa. Cachivache F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 75th minute of the match, Humberto Ferdinand tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Mero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Angelo Berto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Angelo Berto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Dolfina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Berto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cachivache F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
