Santiago Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Iago in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Iago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Santiago Mero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lisandro Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Lluc in the 32nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Berto was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Angelo Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Lando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, La Dolfina's Santiago Mero got control of the ball when Rodolfo Iago tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Dolfina's Angel Iratxo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Iratxo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Dolfina's zone, Wilfredo Egun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Mero came out of the goal and Wilfredo Egun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of River Pasion booed when La Dolfina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Iago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Mero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Iratxo during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Dolfina getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Angel Iratxo hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
