Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Cefero in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Ibañez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucio Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. When Lisandro Milio fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Coloso del Norte's protests and gave Lisandro Milio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, one of El Coloso del Norte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Coloso del Norte. The referee gave Yerbas a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Froilan Rocio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Coloso del Norte's Bernabe Ibañez. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yerbas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
