The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Pergamino's Filiberto Caetano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Sendoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Amadeo Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachivache F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Ofelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Haritzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo Ofelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Haritzeder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Ofelio ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filiberto Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bernabe Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Sendoa having to interfere. Pedro Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Gonsalvo in the 45th minute of play. Pedro Haritzeder made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Amadeo Ofelio sent off a good shot on target.

In the 53rd minute, Florentino Benet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pergamino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Ferdinand in the 60th minute of play forced Pergamino's goalkeeper Pedro Haritzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Caetano in the 64th minute of the match. Pedro Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Ferdinand in the 69th minute of play. Filiberto Caetano struck a weak shot in the 70th minute.
