The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Amadeo Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Eriberto Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Braulio Soter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabe Sendoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Guido Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Anastasio Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Cipriano Cefero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Sendoa. Cachivache F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Cefero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cipriano Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yerbas's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Cefero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Soter in the 68th minute of play forced Cachivache F.C's goalkeeper Bernabe Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cachivache F.C's Bernabe Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Cefero in the 73rd minute of play. If Cipriano Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Sendoa having to interfere. Cachivache F.C's Humberto Ferdinand got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Cipriano Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yerbas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
