Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano Cefero started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ubaldo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Albino Santikurtz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Jerico. Yerbas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Santikurtz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guido Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Albino Santikurtz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guido Jerico came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Cordoba's Dario Stephen. But to his dismay, Dario Stephen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Yerbas's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Santikurtz came free, but Guido Jerico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Cipriano Cefero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedicto Eliazar charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Eliazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Benedicto Eliazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Santikurtz in the 26th minute of play. Benedicto Eliazar got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 27th match minute, Yerbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Eliazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Osvaldo Bazil made a precise shot to the right of Guido Jerico. Yerbas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Dario Stephen fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres de Cordoba's protests and gave Dario Stephen a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Stephen hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Eriberto Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Yerbas's Guido Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Bazil in the 42nd minute of play. Osvaldo Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Guido Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Talleres de Cordoba were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Bazil to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yerbas's goalkeeper Guido Jerico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Yerbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Cefero to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Guido Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Yerbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Cefero to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Osvaldo Bazil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yerbas's Guido Jerico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Osvaldo Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guido Jerico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Santikurtz in the 68th minute. Nestor Mark might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Jerico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Mark ran back to his position shaking his head. When Osvaldo Bazil came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Talleres de Cordoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Bazil couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Yerbas got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Ondino. Talleres de Cordoba's Celestino Valente couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yerbas. Osvaldo Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Jerico having to interfere. Albino Santikurtz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 97th playminute. The Yerbas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Talleres de Cordoba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
