The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Vito during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baldomero Vito hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Olimpia Juniors booed when 33 Son Mejores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Marz got free with Aureliano Blasco in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Abelardo Asur fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 33 Son Mejores's protests and gave Abelardo Asur a yellow card for diving instead. Abelardo Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Atilano Aragones hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play 33 Son Mejores's Abelardo Asur was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, 33 Son Mejores's Abelardo Asur got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Bras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Vito kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match.
