Club Atlético River Plate's Erubiel Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Ramone in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Tikila F.C's Pedro Confesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Oxel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Maurin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Pedro Confesor might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Oxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Confesor ran back to his position shaking his head. Andres Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Ted charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Ted the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Tikila F.C got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Ted. If Anibal Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Confesor kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Pedro Confesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Erubiel Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Ramone to strike the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Oxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Jaunzuria might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Breogan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Jaunzuria ran back to his position shaking his head. Anibal Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Breogan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Jaunzuria in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Breogan saved Tikila F.C from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Anibal Guillerme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 71 minutes, Pedro Confesor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tikila F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Confesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tikila F.C's Amadeo Ramone in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Andres Montez fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético River Plate's protests and gave Andres Montez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Andres Montez hit a great ball. If Pedro Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético River Plate had won after a very even match.
