Remigio Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Koldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Atauri couldn't finish the play. If Sebastian Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Esteve Firmin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Napier. Juancho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Firmin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Juancho's zone, Esteve Firmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Napier came out of the goal and Esteve Firmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miami Heat's Sebastian Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Feliberto Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Firmin in the 55th minute of the match. Sebastian Chayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Chayo ran back to his position shaking his head. Sixto Poncio made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eugenio Ignazio immediately put the ball in play. If Sebastian Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Miami Heat's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Galsino came free, but Remigio Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes in the game Teodoro Rafe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nicolas Atauri. Ulises Galsino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Remigio Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94th play minutes Sebastian Chayo shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Feliberto Napier and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match was over Miami Heat could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juancho throughout the match.
