In the 16th minute, Teodosio Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Sebastian Chayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Madaleno came out of the goal and Sebastian Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Miami Heat booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Desiderio Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Chayo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Madaleno. Desiderio Madaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Remigio Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Garcia in the 32nd minute of play. Remigio Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Egun in the 33rd minute of the match. Sebastian Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Miami Heat booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Racing Club's Clodoveo Egun made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Mateus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hector Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Clodoveo Egun came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Remigio Mateus could save by the left post. Miami Heat's Remigio Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Garcia in the 55th minute of play. Clodoveo Egun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Remigio Mateus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filomeno Garin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Racing Club's Clodoveo Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Fagildo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Adan Flores struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Desiderio Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miami Heat. The supporters of Miami Heat booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Teodosio Koldobika threw the ball into play from the sideline. Miami Heat's Teofilo Ricart quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Miami Heat were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Racing Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adan Flores took the corner. In the 96th minute Sebastian Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Mino to maneuver through the defense. Miami Heat walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
