After a defensive mix-up in Arminda's zone, Damaso Cordarryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Raphael came out of the goal and Damaso Cordarryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Raphael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Merexildo in the 19th minute. A collision led to Arminda getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alfredo Guib hit a great ball. Raimundo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Arminda's goalkeeper Wilfredo Raphael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Merexildo. Alonzo Checa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurlingham FC's Raimundo Merexildo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfredo Raphael. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. After 35 minutes, Justino Telesforo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurlingham FC and the Arminda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Justino Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Tauro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Rosario. Hurlingham FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Raimundo Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Wilfredo Raphael managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Hurlingham FC's Damaso Cordarryl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raimundo Merexildo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Wilfredo Raphael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurlingham FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Damaso Cordarryl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurlingham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Cordarryl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gogo Urbes made a kick off. Raimundo Merexildo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Hurlingham FC's Roberto Rosario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Hurlingham FC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd match minute, Arminda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Checa to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Rosario was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Gogo Urbes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gogo Urbes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Raimundo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Godofredo Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arminda getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Filiberto Tauro hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Merexildo in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Raphael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cordera in the 80th minute of play forced Arminda's goalkeeper Wilfredo Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Merexildo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Raphael saved Arminda from getting behind. Damaso Cordarryl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Raphael having to make a save. With a little luck, Hurlingham FC's Roberto Rosario got control of the ball when Everardo Monico tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Paulo Fero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roberto Rosario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wilfredo Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Cordarryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Wilfredo Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Merexildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Although Hurlingham FC had been in control for most of the match, Arminda still came away with the win.
