Damaso Cordarryl hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Raimundo Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Golondrinas Fc's Zeledon Gelmiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Fulgencio Jerrald's late challenge caught a Hurlingham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Jerrald helped the player get up and apologised. Cosme Cambranes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Merexildo in the 35th minute of the match. Isidro Gai hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Hurlingham FC's goalkeeper Roberto Rosario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Gelmiro. The Golondrinas Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hurlingham FC were winning 1-2.

In the 50th match minute, Golondrinas Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Cambranes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Justino Telesforo. 55 minutes into the match, Golondrinas Fc's goalkeeper Cosme Cambranes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Merexildo. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Iker Bizi sped through Hurlingham FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Rosario. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Cordera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosme Cambranes. That made the score 2-3 in the 63 minute of play. When Baltasar Chan came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hurlingham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Chan couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Benedicto Stephen from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Cosme Cambranes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Raimundo Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cosme Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Damaso Cordarryl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Cambranes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Cosme Cambranes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Merexildo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Godofredo Chaime could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Cosme Cambranes however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Cosme Cambranes managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Hurlingham FC's Raimundo Merexildo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabricio Jerardo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Cambranes. Cosme Cambranes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Hurlingham FC played a much better game than Golondrinas Fc and deserved their victory. The Golondrinas Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
