Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Segundo Eduino took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, corrientes juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Eduino came free, but Ramiro Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Ferman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ramiro Isias made a huge save. After 20 minutes, Rolando Tancredo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tusquitas FC's Cristo Sindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tusquitas FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Martin Cordarius hit a great ball. If Rolando Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. corrientes juniors's Serafin Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dalmacio Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot. corrientes juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Pero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Nestor Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Ferman got free with Ramiro Isias in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ramiro Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half corrientes juniors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Tancredo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Martin Cordarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Sindo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Serafin Iraido sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Rolando Tancredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristo Sindo. The goal made the score 0-2. Nestor Amato's late challenge caught a Tusquitas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Amato helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to corrientes juniors getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nestor Amato hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Ferman in the 62nd minute of play forced corrientes juniors's goalkeeper Ramiro Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Rolando Tancredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristo Sindo. Rolando Tancredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Rolando Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Sindo having to interfere. If Serafin Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in corrientes juniors's zone, Segundo Eduino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Isias came out of the goal and Segundo Eduino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tusquitas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Rolando Tancredo scored to the left of an out of position Cristo Sindo, making the score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Tusquitas FC's Epifanio Gudesteo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Dalmacio Pero struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cristo Sindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for corrientes juniors. Cristo Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Tancredo in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. corrientes juniors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
