After a defensive mix-up in El Aeronauta FC's zone, Alvaro Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Berto came out of the goal and Alvaro Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as El Aeronauta FC's Federico Chus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Erdiano. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Fabio Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Erdiano having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Aeronauta FC's goalkeeper Niceto Berto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Niceto Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Niceto Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Ovidio Serafo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Lino Intxixu fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 85th minute, Placido Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Chus in the 87th minute of play forced TOTO 2008's goalkeeper Romeo Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ubaldo Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Ubaldo Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOTO 2008's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Rioja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the TOTO 2008 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Aeronauta FC.
