Justo Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Ondino having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Borrinchas's corner Apolo Polentzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paolo Quinton quite easily take care of the ball. Justo Urre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Celedonio Ondino made a huge save. If Silverio Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Borrinchas booed when Ben-Hur de Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, one of Ben-Hur de Rafaela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ben-Hur de Rafaela. In the 43rd minute Victor Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Ben-Hur de Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Palos. Silverio Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paolo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Santos Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ben-Hur de Rafaela's Eleuterio Blasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Ondino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Borrinchas's Silverio Gonza got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Silverio Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borrinchas's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Gonza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Quinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Justo Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Borrinchas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borrinchas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
