In the 10th minute, Igor Ritchie made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Aguirre. SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR's Federico Mateo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosme Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 18 minutes, Maximino Gaxan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIVER and the SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Gaxan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. RIVER's Cosme Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Nataniel in the 22nd minute of play. Erubiel Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Maximino Gaxan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. The supporters of SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Igor Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Amadeo Luzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosme Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Chabier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Cosme Llope when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ritchie came free, but Erubiel Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Luzea hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Erubiel Aguirre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Anibal Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Niceto Chabier made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Llope. RIVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Niceto Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Llope having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Ritchie in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Aguirre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes of play, SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR's Amadeo Luzea made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Llope was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Niceto Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Mateo made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Niceto Chabier. After 76 played minutes SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Luzea. Silvano Astrada made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RIVER's Ulises Mantzio. The supporters of SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Chabier in the 90th minute of play. When Bruno Osasun fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Bruno Osasun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bruno Osasun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Laffitte in the 94th minute of play forced SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR's goalkeeper Erubiel Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Chabier in the 96th minute of the match. SCACEST IAM ANTERIOR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
