When Abelardo Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the C. A. GüEMES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Adrio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Lon in the 65th minute of play forced Ilvermorny FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Fe came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. GüEMES's Teo Lon. But to his dismay, Teo Lon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gonzalo Abad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Cipriano Mero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 92nd minute, Isaias Salvidor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 95th minute Abelardo Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. GüEMES's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
