Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Victor Berto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Apolo Guillen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Ondino having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Golden Star F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Berto came free, but Anier Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Golden Star F.C. booed when Borrinchas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Apolo Guillen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Ondino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Borrinchas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Gonza to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Borrinchas's Edgard Delfino got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Apolo Guillen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Ondino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Borrinchas's Celedonio Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Guillen in the 36th minute of play. Apolo Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Celedonio Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Edgard Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anier Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Apolo Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Silverio Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borrinchas's Celedonio Ondino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Borrinchas from getting a goal against them. Victor Berto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Apolo Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Apolo Guillen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celedonio Ondino. That made the score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Apolo Guillen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Ondino was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the match was over Golden Star F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borrinchas throughout the match.
