Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) San Cristobal AFC's Astor Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Soter in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Domingo Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Rio in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Damaso Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Cristobal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of San Cristobal AFC booed when Los Guerreritos de Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes Los Guerreritos de Mitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vicente Cuartio who took care of the corner kick. Astor Gaizkine came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Guerreritos de Mitre's Domingo Salvino. But to his dismay, Domingo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Astor Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Franco in the 17th minute of play. Felipe Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Domingo Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Felipe Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Los Guerreritos de Mitre's zone, Felipe Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Velasco came out of the goal and Felipe Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Rio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Domingo Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Cristobal AFC. Felipe Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Velasco having to interfere.
