Ranquilcó's Anier Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Peli in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Amoschina getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Domingos Pio hit a great ball. When Higinio Micael fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amoschina's protests and gave Higinio Micael a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Mitxel having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Pastor Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Ciro Ruy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amoschina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranquilcó the free kick. After a rather tough play, Amoschina's Ciro Ruy got a free kick in the 40th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Amoschina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ranquilcó had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
