But to his dismay, Roque Rio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Tomi in the 15th minute of play forced San Cristobal AFC's goalkeeper Astor Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Cristobal AFC's Astor Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Tomi in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Severo Gitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Gaizkine. San Cristobal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Gitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 22nd minute, Severo Gitano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Astor Gaizkine. The goal made the score 3-1. Astor Gaizkine came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Victorica FC's Severino Tomi. But to his dismay, Severino Tomi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 34 minutes into the match, San Cristobal AFC's goalkeeper Astor Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Gaskon. Vicente Cuartio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Astor Gaizkine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Gitano in the 40th minute. In the 64th minute Jonas Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Hilario Perpinya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Gaizkine. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Cristobal AFC's goalkeeper Astor Gaizkine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Victorica FC booed when San Cristobal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulino Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Rio in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Victorica FC defense, Roque Rio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Astrada. The Victorica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Astrada should have stopped the shot. If Severo Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, San Cristobal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Gitano came free, but Astor Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bruno Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Victorica FC's protests and gave Severino Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. Severino Tomi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, San Cristobal AFC's Vicente Cuartio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Omar Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bruno Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Victorica FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Cristobal AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
