Serafin Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Ilixo having to interfere. If Domingo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Ilixo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Guerreritos de Mitre's Domingo Salvino. But to his dismay, Domingo Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Franco in the 70th minute of play forced El ferroviario de Junín's goalkeeper Robustiano Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Serafin Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Guerreritos de Mitre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Soter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Los Guerreritos de Mitre fans cheered their team off the field, for while El ferroviario de Junín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
