Astor Gaizkine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Maidana in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Gaizkine saved San Cristobal AFC from getting behind. In the 16th minute Santos Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Lauro in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Mattin got free with Astor Gaizkine in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Gaizkine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Mattin went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes, Prospero Oso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Pernetas and the San Cristobal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prospero Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Roque Rio put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aldo Casado. Astor Gaizkine was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Santos Eduino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santos Eduino really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. With a little luck, San Cristobal AFC's Astor Gaizkine got control of the ball when Clemente Mattin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Santos Eduino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Gaizkine was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Eduino in the 67th minute of play forced San Cristobal AFC's goalkeeper Astor Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Santos Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes in the game, Felipe Nevada fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aldo Casado having to interfere. Astor Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Eduino in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Santos Eduino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Astor Gaizkine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 minutes of play, Club Atlético Pernetas's Clemente Mattin made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Gaizkine was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético Pernetas had played much better football throughout.
