Edgardo Caitano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Galoer went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anselmo Galoer struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Edgardo Caitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Satanás Páez FC. Gualterio Domenec hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Gilberto Venceslas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Anselmo Galoer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espirillos AFC's Edgardo Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Galoer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Quinten struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Edgardo Caitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Satanás Páez FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marcos Quinten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Caitano having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Fausto Kauldi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espirillos AFC and the Satanás Páez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Espirillos AFC's Fausto Kauldi got a free kick in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Espirillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Venceslas came free, but Edgardo Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Galoer got free with Edgardo Caitano in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espirillos AFC's goalkeeper Edgardo Caitano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonzalo Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Ruisko having to interfere. Anselmo Galoer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Caitano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Anselmo Galoer put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edgardo Caitano. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Marcos Quinten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Satanás Páez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Quinten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Anselmo Galoer could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Edgardo Caitano however easily saved by the left post. Marcos Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Espirillos AFC booed when Satanás Páez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Galoer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Caitano having to make a save.
