When Anier Ermengol came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the El Marques fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Ermengol couldn't finish the play. Leo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Mancio in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Corolina's zone, Gabriel Mancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Gimenez came out of the goal and Gabriel Mancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Gimenez having to interfere. Anier Ermengol might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Gimenez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Ermengol ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Santo Duarte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Marques's Ruperto Pelagius. Ruperto Pelagius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Leo Gimenez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Mancio made a kick off. Gabriel Mancio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Leo Gimenez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Marques. In the 66thth minute of the game Gabriel Mancio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corolina's Leo Gimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ruperto Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
