An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Geofredo in the 35th minute of play forced Volcán's goalkeeper Generoso Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Justo Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot.
