Geronimo Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Eutropio in the 35th minute of play forced La Pluma's goalkeeper Geronimo Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Geronimo Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Sportivo Norte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Eleuterio Banegas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Adolfo Qwinton, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 60th of the match, Cornelio Eutropio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Geronimo Abad got in the way and made a wonderful save. 62 minutes into the match, La Pluma's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Eutropio came free, but Geronimo Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Sportivo Norte's Cornelio Eutropio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geronimo Abad. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. After 67 minutes, Jacobo Eron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sportivo Norte and the La Pluma players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Pluma booed when Club Sportivo Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Escobar took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Maldonado. Bernardino Maldonado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Eutropio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Abad was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Geronimo Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, La Pluma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Lope to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes in the game, Nicasio Txaran fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Geronimo Abad having to interfere. La Pluma's Geronimo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Eutropio in the 82nd minute of play. Cornelio Eutropio in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geronimo Abad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Nicasio Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Nicasio Txaran in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the final whistle sounded Club Sportivo Norte left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Pluma.
