Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornelio Eutropio kicked off to start the match. Club Sportivo Norte's Bernardino Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Hori in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Norte's Cornelio Eutropio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Duardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Leoncio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Generoso Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Eutropio in the 18th minute of the match. Francisco Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Maldonado having to interfere. Volcán's Generoso Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Txaran in the 35th minute of play. If Cornelio Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Cornelio Eutropio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volcán's Generoso Duardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Nicasio Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Eustacio Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Hori to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Club Sportivo Norte got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Qwinton. After having played for 54 minutes, Francisco Baleren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volcán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Baleren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Eron in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Sportivo Norte's Cornelio Eutropio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Duardo. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Volcán defense, Nicasio Txaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Duardo. The Volcán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Duardo should have stopped the shot. If Fabian Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Volcán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Leoncio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Norte's Fabian Ado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Volcán's Francisco Baleren got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Eutropio in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Duardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustacio Romero hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Volcán fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Sportivo Norte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
