In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forestal Pico AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Argoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corolina's Leo Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Orlo in the 28th minute of play. Albino Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Leo Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Hodei charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Hodei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Corolina booed when Forestal Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Leoiar's late challenge caught a Corolina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Leoiar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, one of Forestal Pico AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forestal Pico AFC. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Corolina. Aureliano Ordono stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antonio Argoitz. 1-1. If Santo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Orlo was the one to do the kick off. Corolina's Leo Gimenez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Corolina from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute of the match Jacinto Gervaso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Argoitz skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Emiliano Orkatz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Corolina getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabricio Sotero hit a great ball. In the 89th minute of the match Faustino Beila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Gimenez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aureliano Ordono kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Forestal Pico AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
