Evaristo Salamon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Cannabis THC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Hori came free, but Evaristo Salamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Remicio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Remicio might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Duardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Volcán supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Volcán would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
