Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Mancio started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Escalante getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Aureliano Tano hit a great ball. The corner led Escalante's Justo Quintan to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruperto Pelagius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 10th minute, Damaso Aguilera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Isidoro Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Isidoro Dunixi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute of the match Silvano Rico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Furtado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. El Marques's Ruperto Pelagius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save El Marques from getting a goal against them. After 24 minutes, Ivan Maidana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Marques and the Escalante players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Escalante booed when El Marques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ruperto Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Escalante getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tadeo Geofredo hit a great ball. 46 minutes in the game, Tadeo Geofredo got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justo Quintan to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Escalante's Isidoro Dunixi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Pelagius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Justo Quintan scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Pelagius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruperto Pelagius came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Escalante's Isidoro Dunixi. But to his dismay, Isidoro Dunixi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in El Marques's zone, Isidoro Dunixi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Pelagius came out of the goal and Isidoro Dunixi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Quintan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Pelagius. Ruperto Pelagius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Justo Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Pelagius having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Isidoro Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escalante's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Dunixi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Pelagius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Marques's Ruperto Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Dunixi in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Escalante were the better team. Escalante's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
