Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 10) Saavedra's Gerardo Remigio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Prospero Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Janpier having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camboyanos's goalkeeper Raimundo Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Etxahun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Camboyanos's Inocencio Montrell got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ignacio Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Esiquio in the 16th minute of the match. Ignacio Bernebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Esiquio went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Esiquio in the 23rd minute of play forced Saavedra's goalkeeper Ignacio Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saavedra's Gerardo Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Esiquio in the 30th minute of play. Raimundo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd match minute, Camboyanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Matthew to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Frederico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Esiquio scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Bernebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saavedra's Ignacio Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Esiquio in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Camboyanos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Maurino was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Modesto Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camboyanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ignacio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Frederico in the 63rd minute of play forced Camboyanos's goalkeeper Raimundo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes in the game, Gerardo Remigio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Modesto Esiquio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Camboyanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Esiquio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra's zone, Lázaro Maurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Bernebe came out of the goal and Lázaro Maurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Modesto Esiquio could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Ignacio Bernebe however easily saved by the left post. Modesto Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Bernebe having to interfere. Lázaro Maurino struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ignacio Bernebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camboyanos. Gerardo Remigio scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Janpier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camboyanos played a much better game than Saavedra and deserved their victory. The Saavedra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
