Spectators: 6528 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 142) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aristides Oihenarte made the kick off which started today's match. Deportivo Mandiyu's Ismael Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Gonsalvo in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Mandiyu's zone, Americo Lucila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Chus came out of the goal and Americo Lucila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Oscar Gimenez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Chus. Oscar Gimenez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Severino Olando hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Aldo Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Malleo booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Gimenez came free, but Ismael Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Bermudez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Chus. Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aldo Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Serafino Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Maiorga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Ismael Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Eguen. The supporters of Malleo booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Gimenez to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Eguen in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Chus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Serafino Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Aristides Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Oihenarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Chus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Eguen in the 70th minute of the match. Camilo Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Serafino Vincent might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Maiorga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafino Vincent ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Chago charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Chago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Chago hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Oscar Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Malleo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Gimenez couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Malleo's goalkeeper Camilo Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Vincent. A hard shot 94 in the game by Serafino Vincent from a close distance when the talented Camilo Maiorga managed to make a qualified save. Malleo's players were relieved. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Eguen came free, but Ismael Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
