Paulo Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ismael Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Mandiyu's Serafino Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emiliano Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Mandiyu's Aristides Oihenarte got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Montxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Chus having to make a save. Emiliano Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Oihenarte in the 34th minute of the match. Ismael Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Unax, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Serafino Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Emiliano Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Toribio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Oihenarte made a kick off. Paulo Unax might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Chus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Unax ran back to his position shaking his head. Aristides Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Emiliano Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Unax, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Los Borrachos del Tablon's Emiliano Toribio got control of the ball when Serafino Vincent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Unax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Chus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Unax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Los Borrachos del Tablon's goalkeeper Emiliano Toribio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Vincent. Ismael Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Unax in the 78th minute of play. Aristides Oihenarte was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 86th minute, Deportivo Mandiyu's Serafino Vincent ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Toribio. Emiliano Toribio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Aristides Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Toribio having to interfere. The Deportivo Mandiyu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Mandiyu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
