Oscar Gimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Gimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Malleo's Camilo Maiorga got control of the ball when Ernesto Vimaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Teyo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Teyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Malleo's Aldo Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malleo's Camilo Maiorga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Malleo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aldo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malleo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Eguen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Baristo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cervantes getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jonas Ikatz hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Eguen got free with Rene Baristo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Malleo's Camilo Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Vimaro in the 60th minute of play. Simon Lopez might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Maiorga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Lopez ran back to his position shaking his head. If Oscar Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Gimenez in the 67th minute of play forced Cervantes's goalkeeper Rene Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Lopez scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Maiorga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aldo Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rene Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Fernando Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
