The audience was convinced that Marco Rosalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Toribio was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Emiliano Toribio made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Albano Argider sent off a good shot on target. Albano Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Toribio having to interfere. In the 24th minute, German Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Los Borrachos del Tablon's Ciriaco Montxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 32nd minute Ruben Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Montxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Angustia's Blas Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Unax in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Albano Argider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Angustia's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Argider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Toribio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Toribio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Albano Argider sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute Ciriaco Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Unax in the 46th minute of play forced Deportivo Angustia's goalkeeper Blas Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ciriaco Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Borrachos del Tablon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Vicente Beti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Argider in the 58th minute of play. Blas Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Unax in the 61st minute of the match. Albano Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Clis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Los Borrachos del Tablon got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Noe. After having played for 70 minutes, Marco Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Angustia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Rosalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Tabby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Blas Duarte made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Los Borrachos del Tablon's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Brais came free, but Emiliano Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Los Borrachos del Tablon's Ciriaco Montxo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Deportivo Angustia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciriaco Montxo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Los Borrachos del Tablon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Borrachos del Tablon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
