Deportivo Mandiyu's Serafino Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Serafino Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Vincent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Chus having to interfere. Simon Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Chus having to make a save. Rene Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cervantes's Bartolo Teyo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's Ismael Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Vimaro in the 58th minute of play. Aristides Oihenarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Baristo having to make a save. Jonas Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Manuelo. 67 minutes into the game, Eusebio Manuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eusebio Manuelo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Simon Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Chus having to interfere. Rene Baristo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Serafino Vincent sent off a good shot on target. If Serafino Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cervantes's Ernesto Vimaro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cervantes's Rene Baristo got control of the ball when Serafino Vincent tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cervantes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Mandiyu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
