Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualterio Paez started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Feliberto Terciero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jueya and the Anguil AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Jueya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Terciero to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Anguil AFC's Raimundo Aureo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Santiago Montae made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jueya's Gualterio Paez. Gualterio Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gualterio Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Txindoki got free with Gualterio Garaona in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualterio Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Garaona having to interfere. Gualterio Paez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes of play, Jueya's Gualterio Paez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Endira was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Ciro Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jueya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Goiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Santiago Montae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anguil AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jueya the free kick. After a rather tough play, Anguil AFC's Santiago Montae got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Jaime Endira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Montrelle was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jaime Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anguil AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Endira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Montrelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Gualterio Paez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gualterio Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gualterio Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
