A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Felix Mergildo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jueya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Mandiyu the free kick. Serafino Vincent succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. If Siro Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serafino Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Montrelle having to interfere. Eusebio Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Gualterio Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jueya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Gualterio Paez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Paez in the 40th minute of play. Ismael Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sebastian Chago hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Feliberto Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ismael Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Paez to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aristides Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Oihenarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Montrelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, Jueya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Serafino Vincent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Montrelle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Serafino Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Serafino Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Serafino Vincent hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Jueya's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Oihenarte came free, but Patricio Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Aristides Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Montrelle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jueya's zone, Aristides Oihenarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Montrelle came out of the goal and Aristides Oihenarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Oihenarte hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Many of Jueya's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Jueya may have spent more time on the ball, but Deportivo Mandiyu were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
