Caminiaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabaquillo FC the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Endura to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Tabaquillo FC's goalkeeper Joel Olayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Henrico. Emanuel Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Emanuel Beremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Chesus went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th match minute, Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Estefan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Hermengildo Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabaquillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Tiniebra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Roberto Henrico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Joel Olayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Roberto Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Joel Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Caminiaga getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ezequiel Dolfos hit a great ball. Hermengildo Tiniebra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caminiaga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Cecilio Gonzales scored to the left of an out of position Emanuel Beremundo, making the score, 1-4. If Cecilio Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Caminiaga defense, Atilano Chesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Beremundo. The Caminiaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Beremundo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Caminiaga's Domingo Che got a free kick in the 81st minute. Emanuel Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Gonzales in the 84th minute of play. Cecilio Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Caminiaga got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Guillelmus. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tabaquillo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
